"Cowabunga cheese freaks! Do you like long wait times? Reading rules? Harsh punishments? We have good news for you! The eCheese Zone is a crowd punishment party game -  a local multiplayer digital escape-room. Make new friends as you collectively struggle to follow basic directions! Becoming a point of communal gathering, you only have so many hours to win before the game shuts itself off, leaving you and everyone else itching for the next gathering to try again. Are you a big enough cheese fan to beat… the eCheese Zone?"

The eCheese Zone is an extreme-punishment digital escape room. Filled with tense minigames, failure to follow strict directions ejects players to a punishment wait timer. Although played with a single mouse, eCheese Zone thrives at events and festivals as it organically gathers crowds. Outside of the game itself, players take notes, discuss the game’s rules and challenges, and share tips on how to get to deeper levels. The stakes are raised even further as the eCheese Zone closes itself permanently after so many attempts. The whole game is winnable in a single play session, but players and audience need to work together to find the secrets and tricks to unlocking deeper levels of the game.
